For loss or damage caused by a shipping incident, the passenger has a right to compensation from the carrier of up to 2,250 SDR (approximately 2,400 or 2.700 as at 22 June 2018) for cabin luggage and, up to 3,375 SDR (approximately 3,600 or 4.100 as at 22 June 2018) for other luggage unless the carrier proves that the incident occurred without his fault or neglect. All sums you receive or are entitled to receive from the airline concerned by virtue of these Regulations represent the full amount of your entitlement to compensation or any other payment arising from such cancellation, delay, downgrading or denied boarding.
